Driving on Ontario Highways in winter for the last several years it is no surprise that our road maintenance has deteriorated. What is the cost to the general public for things like delay time (more time spent on our highways if the roads are not cleared correctly), collision costs in both human life, lost time at work, rehab therapy and insurance deductibles? So, by saving tax dollars are we actually creating more expenses that are just paid in a different way?
