ontario logoLargeontario banner_defaultI received an email from the MTO today. For anyone that is interested in being a RoadCheck 2016 Observer, here is the information on how to get involved. I have done this in the past and found it quite useful.

Greetings:

RoadCheck is the largest targeted enforcement program on commercial vehicles in the world, with approximately 14 trucks or buses being inspected, on average, every minute from Canada to Mexico during a 72-hour period.

This years’ event is being held June 7, 8 and 9 and Ministry of Transportation Enforcement Officers will be participating at various locations in Ontario.

If you are interested in attending a location to observe, please fill out the “2016 Observer Request Package” (form attached) outlining you choice of location and time of day and review the “2016 Observers Checklist” and ensure you print off the “2016 Roadcheck Waiver” and bring it with you on the day you attend.

When you are finished completing the “2016 Observer Request Package”, click “Email Form” to return it to the Carrier Enforcement Program Office before May 20, 2016.

You will be contacted on or before May 27 to confirm the location and time of your visit.

Here are the forms that you need to send in.
